Wildlife management plans offer ranchers a plan that can be referred to whenever needed. Plans can be tailored to meet long or short term goals depending on your needs.

Wildlife tax exemptions are a good tool to minimize your taxes if you don’t want to stock your property with livestock or raise any other agriculture related goods. Are you having hog problems on your farm or ranch? KBM Texas Ranch Services LLC has the wild hog trappers that can help you with your hog control and trapping procedures. We can set up hog traps for easy removal or set up protection barriers to help with the wild pig problems.Reasons for trapping wild feral hogs and problems associated with Texas Feral Hogs ( russian wild boars, wild hogs, wild pigs, wild feral pigs).

Habitat destruction – Feral hogs root for food and wallow, which destroys vegetation, ruins water holes used by other wildlife and contributes to erosion.Damage to endangered or sensitive plant/ animal communities – Feral hogs can cause major, sometimes irreparable, damage to small, fragile habitats.

• Disease – Feral hogs can carry brucellosis and pseudorabies, both of which can spread to livestock. Some diseases carried by feral pigs can be transmitted to humans. Gloves should always be worn when handling feral hogs.Direct competition with native wildlife – Deer, squirrels, ducks, turkeys, bears and many other species depend on acorns. Hogs also love acorns and are very efficient at finding them (often tearing up wildlife habitat in the process).Crop loss – Hogs often cause heavy damage to row crops ,food plots, gardens, flower beds, pine plantations, orchards, tree farms and pastures.

Census Counts & Harvest Recommendations

Census counts are essential for any landowner or hunter. Maintaining proper stocking ratios is critical to the health and vitality of your deer herd. The optimal stocking rate for your ranch must be determined. We will conduct a series of 3 spotlight counts (generally in August) and evaluate your ranch to determine the optimal stocking rate and calculate your harvest recommendations for the upcoming season.
